Laura Ables, 79, of Whitney passed away February 2, 2020 in Waco, Texas. She was born September 26, 1940 in Weatherford, Texas to Walter and Lottie (Luce) Bland.

She married Billy Ables on January 1, 1958 in Valley Mills, Texas. Laura was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Walter and Lottie Bland; brothers, Ronnie Bland and Eugene Bland; a sister, Bernice St. John and sons, Keith Ables and Eric Ables and grand daughter, Hiedi Ripper.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Ables of Whitney; children, David Ables and Melissa Tennison, grand children, great-grand children; brothers, Lonnie, Johnny, and Gary Gland and many other extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held February 5, 2020. Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park...M_M
