Daughter of the late Joseph & Anna (Moran) Bender, beloved niece of George Moran.

Historical note - Joseph G Bender was son of Martin Zielenski and Anna Zelinski of Lattimer and had siblings George, Mary, and Annie. They are buried at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Hazleton and were members of that parish. Joseph is the only family member that appear to have the name change; however, he is noted as surviving son and /or brother in mother's obituary and siblings. He also lived in Bayonne NJ when he was a teenager one time along with his brother George.

Born in Muhlenberg Hospital Plainfield - lived in Garwood until the family moved to Linden NJ.
Mary Ann moved to a senior citizen apartment in Scotch Plains NJ later in life. Devoted to God and the Blessed Mother.
