We lost our beloved Connie A. Ortiz on April 30, 2008 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Connie was born on October 28, 1956.
Connie was a devoted mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her large family.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Liberato and Dolores Archuleta, brother, Paul Archuleta, sisters, Adela A. Gonzáles and Sadie Ortiz, brothers-in-law, Trinidad Ortiz, Jake Ortega, Dennis Stanley and Melvin Griego and niece, Annette Gonzáles.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Erica Ortiz and her partner, Lawrence Benavídez and Ashley Ortiz and her partner, Joel Ibarra, grandchildren, Aiyana and Sophia, sisters, Margaret and her husband, Henry Váldez, Valentina Griego, Cecilia Stanley, Nellie and her husband, Francisco Martínez, Diana Archuleta and Susie Archuleta and her partner, Phil Leyba, brother, Francisco Martínez, Godchildren, Sabrina Váldez, José Montoya, Chris Quintana, Serena Wallace and Raysean Marchi, her best and life time friend, Margie Gurulé and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
A Rosary will be recited on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 7:00 p.m., at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assi, Santa Fé, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, also at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assi. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
