Jimmie Lee Wilkins, 76, Morningside Drive, died Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with military honors.
Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, he was born August 27, 1943, the son of the late Leeman Wilkins and Mary Thomas Witherspoon Wilkins.
He had previously worked as a Pre-trial Officer for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and was a United States Marine Corps veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackye Wilson Wilkins; his brothers, Hiram Wilkins, Don Lewis Wilkins, Bill Berry and Joe "Jacko" Wilkins.
Survivors include his daughters, Christine Irwin, Hopkinsville, Kim Wilkins, Henderson, Kentucky; his son, Tommy Wilkins, Manitou, Kentucky; his brothers, Ronnie Wilkins, Lexington, Kentucky, Mike Wilkins and Pat Wilkins, both of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Marilyn Gillham, Boise, Idaho, Lulu Wilkerson, Tampa, Florida, and Polly Ann Grace, Hopkinsville; 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
