John worked for Arkansas Dept of Human Services as a vocational instructor.
He served his country well. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and Army Veteran in the Korean Conflict.
John Durham was one of the surviors of The Chosin Reservior in North Korea. He was featured in KOREA-"Our Time in Hell" shown on the Discovery Channel in 1997. It is also on DVD.
He was also writing a book of his experiences at the time of his death.
his children include: sons-John Jacob who died in 1958.
