Shannon Rhea Brooks, 29, a resident of Burlington, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 17, 2012.

She was born on August 1, 1982 in Sedro-Woolley, the daughter of G.F. "Rick" & Lisa Ann (Park) Brooks.

Shannon was raised and attended school in several communities in the Skagit Valley. After completing her schooling she worked as a secretary & scheduler for the Language Exchange and most recently as a clerk at the Fairhaven Market in Burlington.

Her life was filled with loving kindness and good deeds towards her fellow man. She will be greatly missed.

Shannon is survived by her mother, Lisa Brooks of Concrete; her father, Rick Brooks of Sedro-Woolley; brother, Jeff Brooks and his wife Nikki of La Conner and sister, Fawn Brooks of Sedro-Woolley; her paternal grandparents, John & Mary Brooks of Everson; nephews, Jimmy and Fabian Brooks and Kaden Spoelstra; nieces, Riley and Jensen Brooks and Keila and Trinity Miller and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. We will miss you Shannon Bananan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley. Share memories of Shannon and sign the online guest register at www.lemleychapel.com.
