Donna M. Hess of Wales was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Care-Age of Brookfield at the age of 80.
She was born in Wisconsin Rapids on February 1, 1939 the daughter of Sylvester and Eleanore (nee Kaltz) Bey.
On July 11, 1964 she married Patrick Hess at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waukesha and together they have been longtime members of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot.
Donna began her career as a legal secretary and then worked for the Homemaker Extension at the Waukesha County Courthouse. She continued her career becoming the Deputy Clerk of Court for Waukesha County, a job she was devoted to and enjoyed.
Donna was a member of Curves in which the ladies called themselves “The Curvettes”. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid reader, but most of all she cherished her family.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 55 years, Patrick of Wales and their two sons, Robert (Maria) Hess of Las Vegas and Richard (Jeri) Hess of Burlington. She was the proud grandmother of Bailey (Dustin) Gasper of Greenfield and great-grandmother of Tinsley Gasper. She is further survived by her niece Dawnelle Ganz of Muskego, great-nieces Cassandra and MacKenna Ganz, sister-in-law Karen Hess of Wauwatosa, brothers-in-law Fredrick (Mary) Hess of Waukesha and Ken Chybowski of New Berlin, best friends Peg and Susie along with many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gerald Bey, sister Sandy Chybowski and brother-in-law Michael Hess.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass, all at St. Paul Catholic Church, S38 W31602 Wern Way, Waukesha, WI 53189. (Corner of Highways D & Hwy 83). Private family burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
