Funeral services for Mr. Carter H. Creasy, age 92, were held on September 12, 2007 at Corinth Methodist Church with Bro. Glen Scott officiating. Interment followed in the Cornith Cemetery.
Mr. Creasy passed away September 10, 2007 at the Decatur County General Hospital.
He is survived by his son, Larry Dale Creasy of Scotts Hill; daughter, Frances Creasy Bailey of Jacks Creek; brother, James Carmon Creasy of Jackson; sister, Willie Mae Creasy Clenney of St. Charles, MO; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Creasy and grandchild, Brian Bailey.
Carter Creasy was the son of James P. Creasy and Frances C. Wheeler Creasy.
Carter and Pauline married Oct. 17, 1939.
