According to North America, Family Histories, 1500-2000: Thomas Wheeler was born in Concord, Mass 1 Jan 1659-60. He married 13 Nov 1695 Sarah Davis, daughter of Lieut. Simon and Mary (Blood) Davis. She was born 11 March 1665-6 and died 5 Aug. 1728 in the 63d year of her age. He died 2 Oct 1734, in the 75th year of his age. They lived in what was then called the "East Quarter," on the land which had been the site of the dwelling-place of his father, "Thomas Wheeler, Senior." This was on the "Bay Road," the way leading to Boston, and included probably the estate since occupied by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
