Ronnie Roberts, 69, of Kinta passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 in the VA Medical Center at Muskogee. He was born on August 8, 1950 in Quinton, Oklahoma to Travis & Ellen (Moody) Roberts. He grew up in Quinton where he received his education & graduated from Quinton High School. He served his country in the United States Army for several years in Vietnam. He was in the Philippines where he met the love of his life, Helen Libres. They were married on August 24, 1993 and lived in the Philippines two years, and moved back to the states for three years. They were in the Philippines over a period of 16 years back and forth to the states. They moved to Kinta last month to settle there.
Ronnie is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Helen Roberts of the home; a son Ronnie Len Roberts of Kinta; a daughter, Katrina and husband Rodney Pinkney of McAlester; 2 grandchildren, Levi & Camissa Cox of McAlester; 3 brothers & sisters-in-law, Ray & Dorothy Roberts of Kinta, Roy & Loudene Roberts of McAlester & Riley & Lou Roberts of Muskogee; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Travis & Ellen Roberts; his sister Pauline Peck & an infant sister; a brother, Rowdy Roberts & 3 infant brothers.
Graveside Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 3, 2020 at Palestine Cemetery Pavillion.
Cremation arrangements made under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
