Dmytro (Bob) Balahura passed away at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre on Sunday, January 17, 2010, at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Julia Balahura (nee Humeniski). Dear father of Dr. Robert Balahura (Jean E.) and Nancy and Don Forsythe. Loved grandfather of Melissa Smith and Rob Balahura and great grandfather of Jessica Maziarz. Also survived by his sister Rose Antonison. Bob served with the RCAF from 1941 until 1945 in England, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany.
A private family funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
