DIVERNON, IL - Jack R. Warrington, 89, of Divernon, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 12, 1925, in Divernon, the son of Robert and Mollie Fry Warrington.

He was preceded in death by four siblings.

Jack married Marjorie "Midge" Dossett on May 22, 1949, in Divernon.

Jack served in the U.S. Navy during WWI Ion the USS Hilo in the Philippines. He worked for Franklin Life for 40 years retiring in 1985.

He was a founding committee member of Lincoln Land Community College and the Community Bank of Divernon. Jack was very active in the community he loved, Divernon.

Surviving are his wife, Midge; two daughters, Susan (Phil) Franciskovich of Ohio and Jane (Jeff) Legner of Bloomington; four grandchildren: Nik (Alissa) Franciskovich, Jaclyn (Todd) Walker, Casey Franciskovich and Jessica Legner; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Brush Creek Cemetery in Divernon with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating.

Memorials may be made to: First Presbyterian Church in Divernon.

Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon is in charge of arrangements.
