Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Griffith, age 60, of Acworth, Georgia (Paulding County) passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital (Marietta, Georgia).
Mrs. Griffith was born on April 17, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. Lewis Leon Crook and Mrs. Jerry (Tommy) Crook. She was married to Mr. Chris Griffith for 37 years. Prior to her passing, she worked as a twister for Shaw Industries. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Lewis Leon Crook.
Mrs. Griffith is survived by her husband, Mr. Chris Griffith; her son, Mr. Daniel Griffith (Erin); her daughter, Mrs. Kristy Harrell (Andy); her grandchildren, Dalton Griffith, Taylor Griffith and Leann Harrell; her mother, Mrs. Jerry Crook; her brother, Mr. Michael Crook; her sisters, Mrs. Judy Grommet and Ms. Debbie Crook and her nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Griffith has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 12:00PM at Benson Funeral Home. Rev. Vince Byrd and Rev. Harold Turner will be officiating.
The family will be receiving friends prior to the memorial service on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 10:00AM -12:00PM at Benson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to help cover the funeral expenses.
