She was born in Robeson County on November 1, 1964.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Jacobs and Lena Fields-Jacobs; her grandmother, Mollie E. Fields; one brother, Mark Jacobs; and four sisters: Hilda Blackman, Betty Rose Hardin, Doris Ann Parnell, and Annie Pearl Haggins.
She is survived by her son, Merle Fields of the home; her boyfriend, Johnny “David Earl” Hammonds of the home; nine brothers: Roy Jacobs, James V. Fields, Leon Fields, Willie Fields, Horace Fields, Tommy “Ray” Fields, James A. “Tadpole” Jacobs, Jimmy Jacobs, and Donnie Jacobs; and four sisters: Virginia Jacobs, Wanda Sue Jacobs, Debra Hammonds, Jenny Rose Jones.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
