Ella Lewis, 84, died March 31, 1990 in the Sayre Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 2 at the Rose Chapel with Ray Smart officiating. Burial was in the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre.
Ms. Lewis was born May 24, 1905 in Breckenridge, Texas. In May 30,(sic) 1941 she married Joseph Allen Dale Lewis in Sayre and lived all of her life in Texas and Oklahoma. She was a member of the first Christian Church of Sayre for a number years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by three daughters, Jackie McDaniel and husband, Joe, of Sayre, Fredena Grinnell and husband, Scott, of Irving, Texas, and Bobbie Jean Brannan of Sacramento, Calif.; two sons and daughters in law, Billy Joe and Jean Brannan of Salinas, Calif., and H.K. and Eva Brannon(sic) of Sacremento; two stepdaughters, Ruth Brown of Oklahoma City and Pauline Reasoner of California; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
