She was the first of three daughters born to Rocco and Mary Brandi. She grew up in southeast Portland and graduaed from Franklin High School six months early in January 1939. She married Arleigh L Puffer Nov. 9, 1941. They settled in southeast Portland where, other than short stints in Maine and Turkey due to Arleigh being in the U.S. Air Force, they raised their two children. In 1973, they moved to Milwaukee where they lived out their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arleigh; sisters, Eleanor and Flora; and grandson, Travis. She is survived by her children, Arleigh Rocco Puffer (Sharon), Christy Lester (Tony); four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
