August 23, 1959 - January 26, 2020

Services for Randy Dale Howell will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. David Richardson and Rev. Wesley Lovern officiating.

Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2020, from 4:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Howell, 60, of Brandon, died Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Neshoba General Hospital.

A native of Neshoba County, he was a graduate of NCHS in 1977, ECCC, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Alabama, and later his Master’s degree in Nursing. Mr. Howell worked with MS Dept. of Health for many years.

Survivors include

son, Erin Howell of Gulfport;

mother and stepfather, Glennis and Frank Watson of Philadelphia;

brother, Scotty Howell (Ava) of Philadelphia;

sister, Lisa Thompson (Gerald) of Bruce;

aunt, Peggy Weatherford of Brandon; and

two nephews, Clint and Shaun Howell.

Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Dale Howell.

Pallbearers are Mike Roby, John Roby, Tony Goldman, Terry Thornton, Johnny Warren and Jimmy McCoy.
