Lawrence Edward Kelley Jr. was born on July 9, 1947 in Hammond, Indiana. He was born to Lawrence Edward Kelley Sr. and Dorothy Pape. He is survived by his wife Sandra Kelley, his sons Shaun "SEAN" Kelley, and Derek Kelley and wife Maisie Kelley, and 3 grandchildren, Hudson, Kinley, and Deacon Kelley. He is also survived by his sister Donna and husband Bob Denton, sister Kandace and husband Ron Mack, and sister Janell Kelley. Larry grew up on the southeast side of Chicago. He enlisted in the Navy, July of 1965 through October of 1968. He worked as a mechanic for Holsum Bread Co. and also worked for U.S. Steel Company before moving to the Table Rock Lake area in Kimberling City, Mo in 1974. Larry and Sandy married in November of 1977 and later had 2 sons, Shaun and Derek. Larry became a police officer then was promoted to Chief of Police of Kimberling City, Mo in 1984. Larry, Sandy, and sons moved to Oklahoma where Larry worked for Federal Express from 1984 until he went on disability in 2006. Larry had a heart attack in December of 1995 and had many other surgeries throughout the years. Larry passed away January 26, 2020 and went to go be with his Heavenly Father at the age of 72. Memorial services will be held on Saturday February 1st, 2020 at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Bethany, Ok at 11:00 am
