Sams Jr., Guadalajara, Mexico, Glenn Arthur Sams, El Dorado, Ark., and Steven L. Sams, Baton Rouge; a brother, R.L. Jones, McComb, Miss.; and three great-grandchildren, Melody, Kendal and David Sams.
Preceded in death by parents, Mr.and Mrs. C.G. Jones, McComb, Miss.; two brothers, C.P. Jones, Summit, Miss., and C.M. Jones, New Orleans; two sisters, Mae [sic Mai] Jones Barlow, New Orleans, and Vallie L. Jones, Baton Rouge.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and Maurice Bailey, Kenneth Bailey and Joseph Packwood. He was a member of Foster Road Baptist Church. Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., in charge of arrangements.
