Ronald Frederick Hale, 77, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020.
He was born November 3, 1942 in Belleville, Illinois to Lemro and Theresa (Axtetter) Hale.
Ron served in the Army National Guard. He was proud to serve his country.
Ron was owner and electrician of Ron Hale Electric in Cape. He had a passion for photography, especially trains. He was a Ham Radio Operator, a blue grass musician and enjoyed playing the banjo and mandolin.
Loving survivors include children, Theresa (Tom) Hoffmeister of Los Lunas, New Mexico; Jessie Hale of Fort Eustis, Virginia and Courtney Hale of Cape Girardeau; brother, Larry (Shelly) Hale of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Jeanne (Pete) Poe of Cape Girardeau and Mary (David) Hardy of Goldvein, Virginia; grandchildren, Zachary Thiele, Alex and Stephen Hoffmeister; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph Hale.
Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
