Donna Sue Russell, 60 of Cape Girardeau, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at her home.
She was born October 21, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Thomas A. and Roberta (Grover) Key.
Donna had worked as a CNA for nursing homes. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed a good BBQ and spending time with her family.
Loving survivors include her husband, James Russell of Cape Girardeau; son, Roger Poole (Amanda Henson) of Cape Girardeau; daughters, Alisha Gills of Cape Girardeau and Christina (Cody) Pearl of Perryville; sisters, Carol (Allen) Martin, Wendy Santiago, Peggy (Marvin) Rawls, Lynn (Lance) Holloway; grandchildren, Ashlei, Damien, Braiden, Prosper, Gaia, Odin, Kendra, Raylynn, Allyse, Amelia, Jayden, Kyra and Sage; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas A. Key, Jr. and sister, Kay Key.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date.
