Wanda June Phillips, 94, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 27, 2020 at The Bickford of Greenwood. She was born on June 16, 1925 in Jennings County, IN to the late James Elmer and Reva Jackson.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita (Ben) Worthington and Sarita (Tony) Lang, grandchildren, Annette (Tom) Montgomery, Robert Phillips Lang, and Joe Worthington, great grandchildren, Destiny and Rose Worthington; and 4 siblings.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Robert Phillips on December 11, 2016.
Wanda was a charter member of Smith Valley Baptist Church. She was a rural mail carrier for 15 years for the Greenwood Post Office.
The family would like to thank her A team caregivers and her hospice team.
Visitation will be 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 with a service beginning at 2:30 PM. at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135. Burial will be at Dupont Cemetery, Monday, February 3, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
