Ms. Cox graduated from Bridgeport in Franklin County. She was a member of the Alton Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg. Joyce loved to quilt and was a member of the Homemakers Quilting Guild of Anderson County. She also obtained a Masters Tailor License.
Ms. Cox is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lee Rucker; two sons, Delbert Cox lll (Vickie) and Patrick Howard Cox (Susan); two sisters, Patsy Taylor from Columbus, OH and Ruth Rabitt from Frankfort, KY; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Cox Jr.; her parents, William and Nancy Aldridge; two brothers, Billy Aldridge and Jerry Adridge; and two great-grandchildren, Aiven Elicia Cox and Oliver Rucker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.. The Funeral Service will be the following day on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.. Burial will be following the funeral service at Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
