Survivors include his mother, Vivian Combs; his father, Willie Benton; a brother, Jim Benton and wife Michelle; his step-brothers, Geran Combs and wife Cindy, Gavin Combs; and his life-long best friend, Lora Layne Evans.
Funeral services will be held at Fall Creek Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
