Glenda Annette Horton passed from this life on January 28, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Glenda was born on August 15, 1939 to John F. Stephens, Sr. and Ina Avanale Lee Stephens in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in May of 1957 and married the love of her life, Eldon Horton on June 29, 1957 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Glenda worked as a secretary for Floyd Allen at American Family Life Cancer Assurance company, as a seamstress at Bryant Infantwear, and as the manager of the Sports Scene in Bixby, Oklahoma before retiring.

Glenda is survived by husband Eldon Horton of the home; son and daughter in law, Joe and Kina Horton of Jenks, Oklahoma; daughter Deborah Core of Skiatook, Oklahoma; grand children Luke and Garrett Horton of Jenks, Oklahoma, Rebecca Hooper and husband Cody of Houston, Texas; and Steven and wife Molly of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and four great-grandchildren: Liam Hooper and Silas and Jaiden Core. She is also survived by her sisters, Patty Parker and husband Gene, and Joy Ward and two brothers, Joe and wife Kathy and Johnnie and wife Evelyn; and three sister-in-laws, Doris Barrett, JoAnn Boren and husband Clarence and Shirley and husband Charles.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents John and Ina Stephens; father and mother-in-law Everett and Ella Horton; brother-in-laws John Horton, Ernie Barrett, Donald Horton and Coy Ward; sister-in-law Pauline Horton and life long friend Wanda Gary.

Casket bearers are Terry Horton, Rick Horton, Jason Ward, Mike Ward, Blake Stephens & Preston Boren.

Visitation has been scheduled from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 in the Leonard & Marker Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, Jan. 31 in the Leonard & Marker Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Johnny Bilby. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery of Sapulpa, OK.
