Final Rites Set for Mrs. Coffey

EDINBURG -- Mrs. Grace C. Coffey, age 71, who died in Indianapolis Friday morning, will be buried in Rest Haven cemetery here following funeral rites at the Conkle Funeral Home, Indianapolis at 1 p.m. Monday.

She leaves the husband, P. L. Coffey of Indianapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Wirey of Valley Mills, Mrs. Mildred Biddle and Mrs. Marguerite Bymaster of Indianapolis; eight sisters, Mrs. Ellis McKee. Mrs. Roland Fordyce and Mrs. William Galey of Edinburg, Mrs. Nettie Wirey of Edgewood, Mrs. Cora Clark and Mrs. Amelia Waltz of Trafalgar rural route, Mrs. Bessie Campbell and Mrs. Esma Campbell of Pennsylvania; three brothers, Lora Coy of Franklin, Emerson Coy of Shelbyville and Ray Coy of Brownsburg.

Mrs. Coffey, Long a Resident

Mrs. Grace C. Coffey, 3214 W. 16th, died yesterday. Born in Brown County, she had resided in Marion County the past 40 years. Mrs. Coffey, who was 71, retired in 1952 from Real Silk Hosiery Mills. She had worked in the lingerie department there for 27 years.

She was a member of the Eighth Christian Church, the Grandmother's Club and Speedway chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Conkle W. 16th St. Funeral Home with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburg.

Surviving are her husband, P. L. Coffey; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Biddle, Mrs. Marguerite Bymaster and Mrs. Marie Wirey, all of Indianapolis; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lola Crosby and Mrs. Pauline Bigelow, and a stepson, Laymon Hammer, also all of Indianapolis; eight sisters, Mrs. Nettie Wirey, Indianapolis; Mrs. Cora Clark and Mrs. Amelia [Lena] Waltz, both of Trafalgar; Mrs. Gladys McKee, Mrs. Delia Galey and Mrs. Erie [Arie] Fordyce, all of Edinburg, Mrs. Bessie Campbell, Barnesboro, Pa., and Mrs. Esma Campbell, also of Barnesboro; three brothers, Emerson Coy, Shelbyville, Lora Coy, Franklin, and Ray Coy, Brownsburg; 10 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
