Donnie Ray Mitchell, Jr. was born on April 23, 1984 to Patricia Beckwood Butts (LaMont Butts) and his father, Donnie Mitchell, Sr. and raised by Sandra Moore. He was the second child of three siblings; Derrick Mitchell and Raytnea Beckwood (Mano Taper) of Memphis, TN and LaMaris E.Mitchell, Naneisha Booker, Shaquota Booker all of Helena, AR. The family moved to Memphis, TN, where he received his education. He was preceded in death by his son; Shundarrius Deshawn Moore and grandparents; Minnie Mitchell and Willie Beckwood. The Lord received him home on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 1:00 a.m. Rejoicing in his homegoing and cherishing his memory is his maternal grandmother; Mary A. Stevens and fraternal grandfather; Ray Mitchell; longtime girlfriend; Yolanda Bassett; their two children; Donesha A. Bassett, DonNaria R. Bassett and one son; Latavyon R. Mayhew; close friends; Larry Hicks, Nicholas Patterson, and Labaris Dale; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
