Chesapeake - Shannon Baker passed away April 10, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Pat Moore and was also predeceased by her sister, Penny Moore.

She leaves behind her husband, Greg; children, Brad Baker (Karen) and Alex Warren (Craig); siblings, Lynn Sears (Dennis) and Patrick Moore (Karen); three grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan and Haylee; as well as aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family wants to acknowledge her best friends and her wonderful work family at Norfolk General Hospital for the love and compassion they have shared with Shannon over the years and the care and concern they have shown during her recent illness and hospitalization. Shannon will be remembered for her deep faith, love of family and unique sense of humor. Always thinking of others, her message from one of her favorite quotes to those who love her, "To my wonderful family and friends... I pray that much happiness will be at your door. May it knock early, stay late and leave the gift of Gods peace, love, joy and good health behind."

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 22, 2017 at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Rd. Chesapeake, 23322. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook and share memories at www.omanfh.com.
