Gearldine Vines, age 92, passed away on January 27, 2020 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. She was born August 22, 1927 in Morrilton, AR. to the late Homer and Dona Oliger Carroll. On January 5, 1945 in New Madrid, MO. she married Burl Vines who preceded her in death on November 3, 2005. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO. Survivors include three sons and three daughters-in-law, Dewayne and Janet Vines of Sikeston, MO., Sammy and Nancy Vines of Oklahoma City, OK. and Tommy and Randy Coleene Vines of Rockport, TX.; one sister, Betty (Frederick) Moser of O’Fallon, MO.; four grandchildren, Justin Vines, Joey Vines, Angelia Vines and Bethany Wells; eight great-grandchildren, Justin Vines, Josephina Vines, Jessi Vines, Victoria Fletcher, Alexandria Vines, Aubreanna Vines, Emily Wells and Ashlyn Wells and two great-great-grandchildren, Espen Fletcher and Fischer Fletcher. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Lona Carroll; three brothers, Cecil Carroll, Homer Carroll Jr. and Billy Carroll and one sister, Shirlene Redman. Visitation will be held on Friday January 31, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. Bro. Joe McCullough and Bro. Bob Houchin, officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memorie
