Annie Jordan was the daughter of James M Jordan and Frances McChesney Echols Jordan.

On 28 Feb 1879, her mother passed away, near the time of her last child, Fanny E.

On the 25 June 1880 Rockbridge Co., VA census. I found Elizabeth C Jordan, 60; son and farmer James M, 30; daughter Virginia, 14; grandson or granddaughters: Elizabeth, 7; Robert E, 5; Anna P, 3 and Fanny E, 1, all VA born.

On the 1920 Charlottesville Ward 4, VA census, I found widow and boarding house owner, Elizabeth J Hartman, 47; daughter Anna J Hartman, 17; daughter Elizabeth E Hartman, 16; son John H Hartman, 13 and sister Annie P Jordan, 44, all VA born. They resided om Chancellor Street.

On the 1940 Charlottesville, Charlottesville City, VA census, I found widow Elizabeth J Hartman, 67 and sister Annie B Jordan, 62, both VA born. They owned a boarding house together on Chancellor Street.

Miss Annie "Patten" Jordan was born 17 Sep 1876 to parents James M Jordan and Frances Echols. They were all 3 born in Lexington, VA. On 7 Aug 1945, she died in Charlottesville, Albemarle Co., VA. Her sister Elizabeth was the informant. She resided at 123 Chancello Street. She was buried in Lexington, VA. Preddy's Funeral Home in Charlottesville took care of her and her sister Elizabeth, who died 8 years later. VA Cert. of Death #16112.

Her sister Elizabeth and her parents were all buried at Lexington Cemetery which was renamed Stonewall Jackson Memorial in 1963.
