Ronald G. Armes, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (January 27, 2020) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.
He was born on October 17, 1937 in Millwood, KY, the son of the late Charles Louis and Mattie Ozella Coles Armes.
He was a painter who enjoyed crappie fishing and playing rook and was a member of the Beech Grove United Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Fleener (Harrell) of Leitchfield, KY; four grandchildren, Jeremy Durbin, Tyra Fleener, Trenton Fleener, and Charlie Fleener; 6 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Alice Gay Minton (Bert) of Louisville, KY, Vivian Jo Folis of Branson, MO, Wilma Nell Armes of California, and Doris Jean Collins of LaGrange, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife. Lorena Mudd Armes.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, (February 2, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Trenton Fleener will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
