Edith Elvira Smith Adamson, 74, of Corydon, died Monday, January 27, 2020, at her home in Corydon. She was born June 30, 1945, in Bullitt County, Kentucky, to the late Alvin L. and Jeanette E. Grant Smith.

She was the co-owner of Charlie's Used Cars, Inc. in Corydon, was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, and was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Bonnie Rumple.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie A. Adamson; her daughters, Edie Adamson of Corydon, Teresa Greer (Alvin) of Mauckport and Charlotte Clark (Gary) of Corydon; her brothers, Sonny Smith (Joyce) and Johnny Smith; her sisters, Catherine Lillpop, Judy Shireman (Charlie), Ellen Pfeffer (Fred) and Missy Smith; her grandchildren, Jason Adamson, Jessica Clark and Haley Jones; and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2020,. Rev. Andy Hansen will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Published in The Corydon Democrat, January 29, 2020 Page A 4.
