Cheryl Ann Nusbaum, 59, passed away in her home on Friday, January 24, at 7:31 AM.

Cheryl was born May 4, 1960 in Dowagiac, MI to Ruby Moore (Krager) and Emerson Drake and was raised in Glennwood MI, where her family’s meat processing business of 50 years, Drakes Little Super, was located.

Surviving are her two daughters, Dayna Drake of Middlebury, Toni Allen of Cassopolis, MI; three grandchildren, Braxton Bowley, Madelynn Wegner, Makena Wegner; great-grandson, Jayce Shrum; sister Vickie (Ray) Roden of Dowagiac, MI; brother, Richard Drake of Dowagiac, MI; significant other Rick Nichols of Shipshewana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Nusbaum; parents; two sisters, Cindi (Joe) Carlock, and Brenda Drake.

She loved her job at Syndicate Systems of 18 years, cookouts, corn hole and especially kayaking with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM all at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury.
