Mrs. McQueen was born in Mobile, AL, daughter of the late Daily and Ada Knight Robinson. She was a member of Wynnton Hill Baptist Church where she was a former choir member. She had worked as an Elevator Operator for Kiralfy's downtown store and was a Jewelry Expediter for Schomburg's Jewelry.
