Holly Cole, 61, of Robinson, IL, died January 20, 2020, in the comfort of her home.

She was born October 25, 1958, the daughter of Tracy Cole & Margaret (Banker) Martin, the former of whom preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Bufford Fox; by her stepfather, Donald Martin; by her siblings, Tracy Bournazian, Lauren Andrea, and Albert R. Cole II.

She is survived by her children, Victoria & Aaron Hawk (Lebanon, PA), David Fox & Elisha (Casey, IL), Andrea & James Andres (Eau Claire, WI), and Anthony Geiger (Casey, IL); by her grandchildren, Tuari, Anthony, Carson, Chase, Brenton, Collin; by her mother, Margaret Martin; and by her siblings, Steven Cole, Bill Cole, Heather & Ed Sharp, Gretta McConnell, Dawn Martin, and Erin Martin; as well as her fur babies, Nutmeg the cat and Roadie the cockatiel.

Holly grew up in Connecticut, and was a 1977 graduate of Manchester High School in Manchester, CT. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force for nearly 15 years. Her years in the service found her all over the United States as well as Germany and Japan. Upon her honorable discharge, she found work at Menards before eventually settling at Wal-Mart, where she worked for many years in both floral and photography departments. Photography played an important part throughout her life, and she found great joy and fulfillment in capturing the beauty of nature. She simply came to life when she was outdoors, and spent countless hours camping and fishing over the course of her 61 years.

Holly will be remembered as a thoughtful soul who gave of herself without a second thought. However, she would be the first person to tell you that she wasn't perfect, which is why she put her faith and hope in Jesus Christ years ago. She was a member of a number of church families over the years, but upon moving to Robinson, she found a home with Highland Church of Christ. We have assurance that she has been set free from the chains of this world. Today, Holly is experiencing the freedom and fullness of Christ.

A time of visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24th at the chapel of Highland Church of Christ (500 W Highland Ave, Robinson, IL 62454.) Funeral services will immediately follow and will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Shane Bopp officiating. In memory of Holly, friends and family are encouraged to dress casually.
