Michael “ Micky “ Hannon was born April 4, 1958 in Dublin, Ireland to Annie Fox and Michael Fox. On January 25, 2020 in Louisville, KY, Michael was peacefully blessed to go home at the age of 61. Michael was a veteran and served in the United States Army from 1975 to 1979. After his service, Micky held various maintenance jobs before landing a home at Total Concepts of Design, where he worked as a shipping and receiving manager for 16 years. His coworkers could attest that Micky was a hard worker that was “ High on Life “ and never afraid to speak his mind. Outside of working for Total Concepts of Design and in his spare time, Micky enjoyed fishing. He was always willing help friends and family to do repairs and renovations as he loved to be a handyman. Micky would keep you laughing by talking “smack” and always backing it up. Michael was a proud Irish man who led a very colorful life in England and America, for which he was known for telling many of his adventurous stories. He was certainly one of life’s characters and
there was never a dull moment when he was around. Michael was an extremely loving and proud father of 4, Philomena, Philip, Sarah and Anthony.
He was always a part of a large family and was a caring and devoted boyfriend, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Micky had a
big personality, a good heart with endless love for others. He was a man that enjoyed everything that life had to offer and “To know him was to love him."
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Michael Fox and sister, Caroline Hulme. He leaves to cherish his memory his four children, Philomena “Me-Me” Hannon of Phoenix, Arizona, Philip Hannon of Hammond, Indiana, Sarah Despain (Robert) and Anthony Hannon (Andrea Spaulding) all of Bloomfield, Kentucky; a stepson Jeffrey Graham of Kent, Indiana; fiancé, Kelly Graham-Arbuckle of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters, Anne Fox-Johnson of Canada and Berni Fox-Hayes of Ireland; seven brothers, Anthony, Patrick, David, Stephen and Paul Fox all of the United Kingdom, Michael Fox of Spain and John Fox of Ireland; fourteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
