Teresa was born in Abilene, Texas, September 28, 1949 to Thomas C. “Tommy” and Norma Jean “Jeanne” (Carter) Hendricks. She moved with her family to Clyde, Texas in 1961, where she graduated Clyde High School in 1967. She attended Ranger Jr. College where she received an Associates’ degree. She also attended Hardin-Simmons University and Abilene Christian University. She received her Bachelors’ degree of Applied Science from Abilene Christian University. She married Joe Glenn Gray on September 2, 1994. She worked for Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Production Facility until her retirement in 2014.
Teresa loved to do crafts, read, travel and spend time with her family.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joe Glenn Gray of Clyde, two stepchildren, Brian (Nikki) Gray of Dallas and Hayley Gray of Clyde; two step-grandchildren, Emma and Nicholas Gray of Dallas; her mother, Jeanne Hendricks of Clyde; one sister, Cynthia (Joe) Nichols of Clyde; one brother David Hendricks of Abilene; and two brother-in-law, Bobby Gray (Sandy) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Bruce Gray of Clyde.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas C. “Tommy” Hendricks.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Clyde Church of Christ.
