His was first married on 10 Nov 1836 in Trumbull Co., OH to Sarah Rinear, the daughter of Edmond Rinear (1788-1869) & Mary Ann Norcross (1790-??). Sarah died in 1853.
Children: Jonathan, Mary Jane, Ransom, Isaac, Hannah, Rhoda, and Elizabeth.
He married second Elizabeth Harshman on 18 Oct 1855. Both of their children died in infancy and Elizabeth died before 1860, probably with their second child.
Children: Ida Beverly and Jasper Newton
Hezekiah's third wife was Mary Ann Jennings, the widow of John H. Reed. Online marriage collections erroneously show the marriage as taking place in January 1863 in Wells Co., Indiana, however, according to the 1860 census, they were married before July 25, 1860. She is buried with her first husband in the Old Ossian Cemetery.
They had one child: Emma E., born December 1863 who married William Purley Scott in 1883.
