Beverly Jo Cole, daughter of Frances and Don Cole, was born April 22, 1948 in Leoti, KS. Shen she was six years of age her family moved back to Lebanon where Beverly resided until her death. Miss Cole passed away in St. John's hospital in Springfield November 29 following a one-car accident on Hwy 32 near Lebanon on November 24.

She has been educated in the Lebanon public schools and was a popular and beloved member of the Junior Class of Lebanon High School, especially prominent in the musical and athletic activities.

At the age of eleven, she gave her heart to the Lord and was baptized into the membership of the Second Baptist Church where she remained a devoted and active member.

One of her greatest loves was sacred music. At the time of her death she was a member of the youth and church choir of her church and was also assisting a neighboring church in the preparation of its Thanksgiving music. In fact, she and one of her dearest friends were on their way to the church for choir rehearsal at the time of the accident.
