Mrs. Anna M. Weems, 71, of 230 North 15th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Sunday at St. Margaret's Hospital. She had been a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, since 1903. Mrs. Weems was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Cathedral.

She was survived by her husband, Levi M. Weems; a son, Lloyd M. Weems, of 2008 North Twelfth; a sister, Mrs. Leona Jacobson, of New York; and three brothers, Jake Detrich of Hanford, California, John Detrich of Clarksburg, Missouri, and Zack Detrich of Hemingford, Nebraska.

The Rosary was prayed at the Butler Chapel. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Peter's Cathedral followed by burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
