Karen was born December 31, 1942, in Cordova, IL, the daughter of Kenneth and Pauline (Massey) Glazier. She married William Shrum in Morrison. She was a cook for Riverdale High School for 25 years. She enjoyed her card club for many years. Before her decline in health she loved to go fishing and she enjoyed gardening and canning.
Karen is survived by her husband, Bill, Cordova, IL; daughter, Cheryl Shrum, Cordova; son, Dale (Jen) Shrum; grandson, Lowden Shrum and step-grandson, Trey DeMeyer all of Cordova; brothers, Rich (Nancy) Glazier, Morrison, Les Glazier, Erie; sister, Donna (Richard) Jones, Prophetstown; and sister-in-law, Janet Glazier, Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Annette Shrum in infancy; brother, Alvie Glazier; sister-in-law, Marge Glazier; and nephew, Rusty Jones.
