John Colvin, 71 of Rector passed from this earth on January 24, 2020 at his home. He was born in Gainsville, Florida to the late John and Mary (Cobb) Tillman. He loved working with wood, model trains and spending time with his precious family.
He is survived by his loving wife: Twana (Mayfield) Colvin, his sons: Sean (Diana) Colvin of Houston, Texas, Christopher (Rebecca) Colvin of Rector, Michael (Tammy) Colvin of Dallas, Texas and Matthew Colvin of Rector, his grandchildren: Taylor McGinnis, Erryl Colvin, Gregory Colvin, Noah Colvin, Joshua Colvin, Kyleen Balliet Michael Nicholaus, great-granchildren: Ellee McGinnis, Olivia McGinnis, Jon Chris McGinnis, Bria McGinnis and Regan McGinnis.
Visitation will be Monday, January 27, 2020 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector with the service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
