RUBEN LUNA - BEEVILLE -
Ruben Luna, 53, of Beeville, died in a local hospital Friday, July 5, 1991, following a sudden illness.
Mr. Luna was born Aug. 30, 1938, in San Petlita to Maria de Refugia Torres of Raymondville and the late Lazaro Gutierrez and was an electrician and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He married Ofelia Naranjo in February 1991 in Beeville and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors: Mother; daughters, Monica Luna and Ramona Grimes, both of Normanna; sisters, Isabel Longoria and Antonio McKinney, both of Stillman, Naomi Gray, Eva De la Garza and Norma Munoz, all of Corpus Christi, Olga Esparza of Caldwell, Ignacia Munoz of Raymondville; half brothers, Joe Gutierrez and Manuel Rodriguez, both of Raymondville and Moises Rodriguez of Corpus Christi.
Preceded in death by father and wife, Ofelia Luna, on June 12, 1991.
Rosary 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Colonial-Wilson Funeral Home.
Services 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beeville, the Rev. John Killeen officiating.
Burial in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery No. 2, Colonial-Wilson Funeral Home, Beeville, 358-5155.
Pallbearers: Gilbert Del Bosque, Jose Montez, Felix Naranjo, Rudy Perez, Miguel Campos and Armando Naranjo.
Honorary pallbearers: Joe, Dionicio and Jesse Arredondo.
