Ricky Delano Hunter, age 60, of Millersburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on July 16, 1959, in Paris, Kentucky, the son of the late Frank Hunter and Janice Hafley (Carl Hafley), of Millersburg. He was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, a United States Army veteran and a retired horseman.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Chad Hunter. In addition to his mother, Janice, and stepfather, Carl, he is survived by: two sons, Jason Hunter and Ricky Hunter, Jr.; two brothers, Barry Hunter (Judy) and Robbie Hunter, both of Millersburg; two granddaughters, Makenna Hunter and Macey Hunter; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, with Rev. John McGuire officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Tabor Cemetery, with casket bearers being Ricky Hunter, Jr., Ethan Hunter, Stacey Hunter, Ronnie True, Keith Hunter, Robert Hunter, Randy Hunter and Billy True. Honorary bearers are Barry Hunter, Robbie Hunter, John Langfels and Carl Hafley. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 US Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
