Shelby Jean George, 74, of Pottsville, passed away, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at her home.
The daughter of Jesse and Berma Brents Jones, she was born November 11, 1945 in Little Rock.
She was a Homemaker and lovingly cared for her family and others.
She enjoyed yard sales, shopping in thrift stores that she called "junking", cooking and most importantly spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Lloyd George her parents; a son, Raymond George and a granddaughter, Courtney George.
Survivors include a son, William (Louetta) George of Pottsville; a daughter, Leeann George of Pottsville; three grandsons, Jake George of Russellville; Kennith George of Idaho; Garrett (Jaime) George of San Diego, CA; two granddaughters, Taylor George of Pottsville; Jillian George of Pottsville and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
