August 26, 2019

Erin Kathleen Price fulfilled her earthly journey on August 26, 2019 with friends and family by her side. Erin was a lifetime resident of Syracuse. She was a graduate of Most Holy Rosary and Bishop Ludden High School. She also attended SUNY Cobleskill. Her compassionate nature and love for all showed in her early work with the disabled. Her youthful spirit led her to work with children as a professional nanny; a career that brought her great joy. Erin always made us feel loved and was famous for cracking jokes. She loved music, attending concerts and playing pitch. She had a great love for animals, particularly her dog, Gus Gerald. She was the proud godmother to her nephew, Parker James Cass. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Francis and Elizabeth Price and John and Dorothy Dungey. She is survived by her father, James P. Price, her mother, Mary A. Dungey (Michael) Sims, her sister, Meghan (Daniel) Cass, her brother, Christopher Dewey, many aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved Gussie. Erin's loving and generous spirit lives on. Her final wish was to donate her organs so that others may live. Calling hours will be Friday, August 30, 2019 from 4-7 pm at Edward J Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Avenue in Syracuse. The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 10 am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave in Syracuse. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the S.P.C.A., 5878 E Molloy Rd, Syracuse, NY 13211. Share condolences at edwardjryanandson.com
