Hartsel Aubrey Leep, 78 of Huntington, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV, with Brother Joe Wayman officiating. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens at Wayne.
He was born August 17, 1941 on Bowen Ridge, a son of the late Elmer Cecil and Gracie Porter Leep.
Hartsel was a retired crane operator for Steel of WV, he was a U.S. Marine veteran as well as a member of the Kenova Church of God. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Patricia and Ermie Leep; and a brother. Roger Leep.
Survivors include his loving wife, of 54 years, Carolyn Leep; a daughter Heather Hymel (Jerred) of Bridge City, TX; three sons, Samuel Aubry Leep (Jessica) of East Lynn, WV, Danny Ray Leep (Shellie) and Kenneth Robert Leep, all of North Dakota; three sisters, Juanita Leep of Huntington, WV, Kathy Adkins of Huntington, WV, Iva Sullivan of Proctorville, OH; three brothers, Ray Leep (Rosie) of Huntington, WV, Glenny Leep of Wayne, WV, Cecil Leep (Dale Ann) of Huntington, WV; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 12:00 until service time at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne.
