Frances Eleanor Beck was born August 21, 1921 at home in Sanisk, ND to Perry and Alma (Christianson) Morehouse.
She was baptized and confirmed in Leaf Mountain Church.
Frances married Melton Beck on June 26, 1940 and to this union was born one son, Jerry. They farmed in Eagle Lake Township until retirement in 1995, then moved to Evansville. They lived there until Melton died December 5, 2000. The couple enjoyed over 60 years of marriage.
Frances moved to Bethel Manor in Alexandria and lived there for 15 years. She enjoyed doing volunteer work and was recognized as 2010 volunteer of the year.
She loved to crochet and made many lap robes which she gave to many nursing homes and individuals. Frances also enjoyed making baby blankets which she gave to workers and whoever wanted them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melton; son, Jerry (Viva) Beck; parents, Perry and Alma; sisters, Alvira Krubeck and Violet Spaulding; brothers, Almin, Palmer and Kenny Morehouse.
Frances is survived by a granddaughter, Michelle Beck; grandson, Brian Beck; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Dewing and Melton Beck; many nieces, nephews and friends.
