Funeral services for Sherry Faye Hawkins 65, of Tyler have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday January 26, 2020 with Rev. Larry Fondren officiating under the direction of Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.

Private family burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens.

Sherry passed away Wednesday morning January 22, 2020, in Tyler, Texas.

She was born April 28, 1954, in Corsicana, Texas, to Roy Glen and Betty June Goines Hawkins. Sherry was a resident of Athens numerous years where she attended Athens High School. She then later moved to Tyler where she graduated Cosmetology School. She loved music and gardening and spending time with friends and family but especially her grand babies.

She is preceded in death by her father Roy G. Hawkins.

Survivors include her son Phillip Renn of Chandler, granddaughter; Sophia Renn of Chandler, grandson; Randy Renn of Chandler, mother; Betty Hawkins of Athens, sister; Debra Pierce of Athens, niece; Bianca Wilson of Cameron, Texas..
