ELKHART -Daniel Eli Yoder, 87, passed away January 19, 2020 at his home in Elkhart. He was born October 25, 1932 in Arthur, IL to Eli D. & Kattie Ann (Mast) Yoder.

He married Peggy Clifford; she preceded him in death in January of 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings, Mattie, Verna, Willis, Willard and Adlai.

Surviving is his companion of 2 years, Diane Paczkowski, 3 sons, Danny Lee Yoder, Timothy (Lanita) Yoder, Steve (Linda) Yoder, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, Susanna, Edna, Sovilla, and Elsie.

Daniel was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

. He worked at Skyline, owned Yoder Lawn Service in Florida for 10 years and retired from Walmart after 17 years.

He was a member of the American Legion, D.A.V. and Boardwalk Senior Communities. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed having a good time.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Prairie Street Cemetery.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 2-5 p.m. at the American Legion in Bristol.
